Techniques to Extend Lemon Freshness:
Aluminum Foil Method (Up to 6 Months): Wrap each lemon individually in aluminum foil and store it in the refrigerator. This method can maintain freshness for several months, with some claims up to half a year, although this might seem a bit optimistic to some.
Coarse Salt Preservation (Several Months): Using the desiccant properties of coarse salt, simply place the lemons in a box, completely cover them with the salt, and refrigerate. Salt helps by absorbing moisture, which effectively prolongs the lemons’ freshness.
