Grandma’s Homemade Cake

Preheat the oven to 150ºC (300ºF).
Beat the eggs and add the sugar, yogurt, sunflower oil, and lemon zest (ensure you only use the yellow part of the zest to avoid bitterness).
Combine the flour and baking powder, then add this mixture to the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Grease a mold with butter, sprinkle with flour, and shake off the excess. Pour the batter into the mold. For best results, let the batter rest for 15 minutes before baking.
Bake the cake. It will be ready when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. (Baking times can vary depending on the oven, so keep an eye on it.)
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly. Use a knife to loosen the edges before unmolding.
Optional: Decorate the cake with a dusting of icing sugar.
