Directions:
Prepare the Mushrooms:
Clean and trim the mushrooms. If they are large, you may want to cut them into halves or quarters.
Cook the Mushrooms:
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Sauté the Mushrooms:
Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and golden brown.
Season and Finish:
Season the mushrooms with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped parsley and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. If desired, add a squeeze of lemon juice for added brightness.
