Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Peppers:
Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.
Mix the Filling:
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, dried basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
Stuff the Peppers:
Spoon the chicken mixture into each bell pepper, packing it in firmly. Place the stuffed peppers upright in a baking dish.
Bake:
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
Add Cheese:
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve warm.
