Oven Baked Chicken Thighs

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, whole grain Dijon mustard, mustard, honey, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Place the seasoned chicken thighs in a large bowl or directly in a baking dish. Pour the sauce over the chicken thighs, making sure each piece is well coated. Use your hands or a brush to evenly distribute the sauce.

Arrange the chicken thighs in a single layer in a baking dish or on a rimmed baking sheet, skin side up. Make sure they are not too crowded to allow the skin to crisp up better.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (75°C).

If you want the skin to be extra crispy, turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Keep a close eye on the chicken to avoid burning.

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Enjoy your Oven Baked Chicken Thighs!
