Directions:

Cooking the Meat and Vegetables:

Prepare the Skillet: In a large skillet, cook and crumble the ground meat with diced onions and black pepper until fully cooked. Retain the rendered fat for added flavor.

Prep the Vegetables: While the meat cooks, slice the cabbage into thin ribbons after removing the core. Peel and dice the carrots or use a vegetable peeler for thin slices.

Combine and Cook: Add cabbage, carrots, and minced garlic to the skillet with the cooked meat. Stir-fry over medium-high heat for approximately 5 minutes.

Seasoning the Stir-Fry: In a small bowl, mix grated ginger, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Stir this mixture into the skillet with the meat and vegetables.

Final Cooking: Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for 5-10 minutes until the cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally.

Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust the seasoning with additional soy sauce, salt, or pepper to suit your preferences.
