Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Pizza Dough:
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 10×14 inches.
Add the Fillings:
Spread the ranch dressing evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border along the edges.
Distribute the cooked chicken and crumbled bacon over the ranch dressing.
Sprinkle both the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses over the top of the chicken and bacon.
Season with a little salt and pepper to taste.
Roll the Stromboli:
Starting from one long side, roll the dough tightly into a log.
Pinch the seams and the ends closed to seal all the fillings inside.
Prepare for Baking:
Transfer the roll to the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
Brush the top and sides of the stromboli with olive oil, and then sprinkle with garlic powder and dried parsley.
Bake the Stromboli:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Cool and Serve:
Let the stromboli cool for about 5 minutes before slicing it into pieces.
Serve warm, possibly with extra ranch dressing for dipping if desired.
Tips:
Dough Thickness: Be careful not to roll the dough too thin; this could cause it to break and let the filling leak during baking.
Sealing: Ensure the edges are well sealed to prevent any filling from escaping during the cooking process.
Variations: Feel free to add vegetables like diced bell peppers, onions, or spinach for added flavor and texture.
Cooking Chicken: For convenience, you can use leftover chicken, rotisserie chicken, or even canned chicken breast.
